Our Approach
Our practice utilizes a variety of evidence-based treatments including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), informed Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Both Katelin and Kristen have also received advanced training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International.
After an intake assessment with one of our clinicians, we will outline our recommended approach, tailored to meet your unique needs and treatment goals.
Please note, we are currently only offering telehealth services to clients living anywhere in Virginia, Washington D.C., and California.

Our Specialties
Infertility
Navigating infertility can be an emotionally challenging and deeply personal journey. Whether you're just beginning to explore your options or are already pursuing fertility treatment, it's normal to feel overwhelmed or uncertain. Our team offers compassionate, specialized support to help you manage these emotions and make informed decisions that align with your values and goals. You're not alone—and we're here to guide you every step of the way.
Reproductive Loss
Experiencing a miscarriage can be profoundly painful—both physically and emotionally. While it's more common than many realize, affecting up to 20% of known pregnancies, it can still leave you feeling isolated, anxious, or overwhelmed by grief. You deserve support and space to process this loss in your own way. We offer a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where healing can begin—on your terms and at your pace.
Pregnancy Support
Being pregnant and preparing to have a baby can be one of the biggest transitions you go through in your life- physically, mentally, and emotionally. If feelings of depression and anxiety come up during pregnancy, you do not have to be alone to deal with them. We can help you process and explore these feelings, and help you to get ready for baby.
Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders
Mild mood changes after giving birth after having a child can be normal, but if heightened anxiety and depression persist or develop within 12 months of having your child, this could be a sign of postpartum depression and/or anxiety. Through our professional training and personal experience, we can work with you to get the support you need.
Parenting & Caregiver Support
Moving into a role as a caregiver (either as a parent or caring for another loved friend or family member) can, at times, present challenges. Learning to balance your self-care with the care of others is not an easy task. Take the first step in your self-care journey by seeking support for you.
Life Transitions
Life is a series of transitions, with some being more challenging to navigate than others. From transition in your career, relationship, parenting (or any transition that may be causing difficulty in your daily life), we are here to help.
